Have you heard about a world inhabited by humans and fae. Fae are descendants of the prestigious and most powerful families in the fae realm. “A Court of Thrones and Roses” by Sarah J. Maas became a popular fantasy series in recent years, probably due to its immaculate world and story-building and character development. It’s a five-book series that can capture your heart effortlessly. The seven realms are named after nature, such as Night Court, Summer Court and Spring Court. It begins with the heroine, Feyre Archeron, a 17-year-old girl who does everything, from hunting to stealing, to keep her two older sisters and the disabled father fed. She’s the only income their house has. They live in a little cottage with no real furniture in the middle of winter filled with daily snow storms and continuous rain. No one works in her family, because before going bankrupt they had everything handed out to them.

One day Feyre goes hunting during a snowstorm. She goes somewhere prohibited to humans with only an arrow and a bow and kills a wolf. Plot twist: the wolf is fae. In Prythian, the island they all live in, the price for a life is a life. That night, the High Lord of the Spring court visits to collect his debt and takes Feyre. The fae realm was conquered by a power-hungry beast, Amarantha and she prevents anyone from using their magic freely. Fryer becomes the lady in waiting but during her stay in the Spring Court, Amarantha attacks them. Tamlin, the Spring court’s high lord, is imprisoned in the kingdom under the Mountain. Only Feyre can break this world’s curse. Would she be able to? Can she go against all the morals to save the fae realm, a part of the world always hated by humans?
